As part of the whole 'moving to the other side the world' saga that commenced nearly 6 years ago I faced a recent conundrum. Mum and Dad no longer want to store my stuff. Granted, this is faced by pretty much every adult, but my sitution was slightly more complicated as I couldn't just drive over to mum and dad's to pick it up.

Gemma had an idea...
So the first lot of items came over through international shipping, and these were my books. I have a lot of books. I like my books. I wanted somewhere to keep my books. So Gemma and I purchased the old IKEA favourite Kallax unit. While we love this unit and own muiltiple versions of it, its shelf space is a little big for my novels, and there would not have been enough space, even with the 20 shelves of Kallax we bought.
I had a design...
Enter the amazing world of cardboard design. It was Gemmas idea and I spent 30 mins knocking up a template. The best part - the cardboard boxes the Kallax unit came in were the perfect size!
We had a solution...
...that fit perfectly!
